Adam Michaels is an experienced food industry executive and former management consultant with broad experience transforming consumer-focused companies. Previously, Adam served with Mondelez International, a multinational food and beverage company with operations in over 150 countries. Over the past nine years, he has held numerous roles with increasing responsibility at Mondelez across Supply Chain, Commercial Sales & Marketing and Strategy. Adam led Mondelez’s North American Insights & Analytics organization and was most recently responsible for M&A and Commercial for North American Ventures – a business unit comprised of high growth brands including Perfect Snacks, a refrigerated snacks brand, Hu, an ultrasimple multi-category lifestyle brand, and Tate’s Bake Shop, a premium cookie brand, among others. Before joining Mondelez, Adam was a Principal at Booz & Company, a management consulting firm, for seven years where he specialized in the Food & Beverage sector. He started his career at Capital One Financial and holds an MBA in Marketing & Management from Columbia Business School, as well as a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Adam has lived and worked in the US, England and France. He lives with his wife and their two boys in New Jersey.

Matt has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations in the food industry. From 2001 – 2011 he served as President of Hors D’oeuvres Unlimited (a manufacturer and distributor of high end appetizers to the foodservice sector). Prior to his work with HDU, Matt worked with such iconic brands as Velveeta, Cool Whip, and Jell-0 while working at Kraft Foods, Inc. Matt has been at the helm of operations since MamaMancini’s inception. He holds an B.A. from the University of Michigan & MBA from the University of Illinois.
Daniel Mancini is cofounder of MamaMancini’s and a long-time entrepreneur having spent many years as a co-owner of a successful garment manufacturer in the NYC garment district grown through the ranks of the retail apparel industry. Daniel is a master at relationship building. In 2009, Daniel left the garment industry with the vision to manufacture and distribute his grandmother Anna Mancini’s recipes. Daniel is the public face and sound of MamaMancini’s including a key component of MamaMancini’s new products and customer sales process. Daniel is the voice of MamaMancini’s radio advertising, and the on-television sales representative of MamaMancini’s products on QVC.
Executive Vice President and Director
Steven Burns has over 25 years of experience in the management and operations of various companies. Mr. Burns has served as a director of MamaMancini’s from February 2010 through the present, and joined the company full-time on February 1, 2020 as Executive Vice President, Finance and Productivity. Since 2006 Steve was President and CEO of PointProspect, Inc. where he managed the day to day operations of the company with primary focus on investments and services in real estate, clean and efficient energy sources, high-quality and healthy food services, and healthcare technology. Prior to that, for a period of 24 years he worked at and was senior executive at Accenture where he led the U.S. Health Insurance Industry Program comprised of approximately 600 professionals. He also has sat on various financial committees and boards of directors throughout his career. Mr. Burns received his B.S. in Business Management from Boston College in 1982.
Senior Vice President of Sales
Scott Shaffer has 12+ Years of extensive experience in the Retail & Consumers Foods Products Industry. Mr. Shaffer has served as the Senior VP of Sales of MamaMancinis since 2015 where he has been an expert in New Account Development.
Prior to that, Mr. Shaffer worked 7 years at Fresh Mark Inc. (Sugardale/Superior) as a Regional Sales Manager before being promoted to Nationals Accounts Manager. At Fresh Mark, Mr. Shaffer lead Broker teams to deliver increased revenues and profits through new business acquisition, expansion of current business , and new product innovation.
Mr. Shaffer has a B.A. in Sales and Marketing from the University of Akron.
Anthony Gruber is a financial executive with significant experience leading and optimizing finance organizations in the consumer products arena. Anthony began his career in public accounting working with various local and international firms including Ernst & Young. Previously, Anthony served as Chief Financial Officer of De’Longhi America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the Italian appliance manufacturer DeLonghi S.P.A. known for its espresso machines. Before joining De’Longhi he served as Chief Financial Officer of LBM Advantage, Inc., a member-owned lumber and building materials buying cooperative. Anthony also served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Richemont North America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the Swiss-based luxury goods company, where he managed all finance activities for North America and was integral in integrating brands into its shared service platform. Richemont’s Brands include Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Panerai and Montblanc among others. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Montblanc North America, LLC, prior to its integration into Richemont North America, Inc., where he was responsible for logistics, information technology, legal and finance. Mr. Gruber earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Carl has over 35 years of experience in the management and operations of companies in the food industry. Mr. Wolf served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of MamaMancini’s from February 2010 through August 2022. Mr. Wolf was the founder, majority shareholder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Alpine Lace Brands, Inc., a public company with over $125 million in wholesale sales. He also founded, managed, and sold MCT Dairies, Inc., a $60 million international dairy component resource company. Other experience in the food industry includes his role as Co-chairman of Saratoga Beverage Company, a publicly traded (formerly NASDAQ: TOGA) bottled water and fresh juice company prior to its successful sale to a private equity firm. Mr. Wolf served an advisor to Mamma Sez Biscotti, a snack and bakery product company (which was sold in a later period to Nonnis, the largest biscotti company in the United States) from 2002 to 2004. Previously he served as Director and on the Audit and Development committees of American Home Food Products, Inc. a publicly traded marketer Artisanal Brand Cheeses, from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Wolf also served as Chairman of the Board of Media Bay a publically traded direct seller of spoken word through its audio book club and old time radio classic activities and download spoken content, from 2002 to 2004. Mr. Wolf received his B.A. in 1965 from Rutgers University and his M.B.A. in 1966 from the University of Pittsburgh.
